Biography:

Lisa’s start in shooting sports began when her mother forced her to go to a junior shooting camp that she was not looking forward to attending. To Lisa’s surprise, she immediately fell in love with the sport and never looked back.

She soon joined her local junior bullseye team. Through the team, she got to compete at The Civilian Marksmanship Unit’s range at Camp Perry alongside military teams. This inspired her to join the military where she began to shoot for the All Guard Service Pistol team.

Through her many competitions with the All Guard team she met Brenda Silva, pistol Olympian. Brenda convinced Lisa to try out Olympic style pistol shooting. Lisa’s first sport pistol competition was the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Trials.

Lisa continued to train and made the USA Shooting National Team in 2022. That same year she tied the current U.S. national record for Women’s Sport Pistol, a score that has remained untouched for over 20 years.

Lisa is currently a 1st Lt. in the Army National Guard and is looking to make her first Olympic team for the Paris 2024 Games.
